PROJECT SUMMARY
The structures and culture of schools have been shown to have a direct effect on the political climate of the country.
Schools are at the centre of their communities, and hence leadership at all levels within a school can have tremendous impact.
From a country development perspective, research has shown:
• Autocratic schools foster autocratic societies.
• Schools that value a student’s right to be heard, teach a student that their voice is important
• Schools with fair disciplinary structures, foster creativity and diversity.
OUR GOALS
1. Developing leadership in teachers through the provision of in-service training as well as additional qualifications.
2. Provision of leadership development at various stages of a child, from 11 years old through to 18 years old.
3. A culturally relevant leadership program for school leadership teams to equip, engage and foster excellence in all aspects of a school's culture
